I used my fingers to blend the foundation onto my skin, and then a makeup sponge to even it out. I normally dust a light layer of loose powder on top of the foundation. For a more dewy look, you can skip the loose powder.
When I ran out of the Select SPF 15, I bought the Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15. According to the salesperson, it does the same job. I bought my usual NC35, but when I went home, and tried it out the next day, I found that the Studio Fix Fluids a tad thicker than the Select SPF. Worst of all, the NC35s darker than the one of the Select SPFs! It gave my face a bit of a tan, which was fine when I go outdoors, but indoors, well, I look a little more tanned than usual. However, when I bought the Studio Fix Fluid, I was no longer given the pump; I was told that the pumps only for sample bottles (???). It was a good thing I kept the pump.
